Shrub 2.5 m. tall, with erect central stem and horizontal-ascending branches. Leaves green above and with impressed veins, ferruginous-silvery below. Inflorescence held below and away from the leaves at all stages; corolla greenish white; anthers yellow-green. Fruit green, immature, not held erect below the subtending leaf. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
