Description:

Shrub more than 1 m tall. Frt. green, tinged with red. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Cut-over & burned campo cerrado, ground ploughed for planting of Pinus. Ground vegetation returning, grasses, herbs, & small shrubs. Campo cerrado on upland [see specimen label for addtional information]. Soil poor, reddish brown fine sand with a little clay.
