Brazil. Pará. Santarém Mun. Savana da Santa Maria, about 10.2 km E and slightly S of central Santarém, E of city on the Rua (Av.) Eng. Fernando Guilhon (road to airport), then 0.75 km E and slightly S on the Rua Carapanari.

Description:

Succulent tree to 7 m tall, bark thick, furrowed, inflorescence and calyx green, corolla white, old dehisced fruit brown-black; SILCA COLLECTION.

Habitat:

Open shrubby savanna on sandy soil, with islands of low forest, terra firme.
