Brazil. Pará. Santarém Mun. Morro de Ponta Negra (Serra do Saubal), along road to overlook of city departing from the Avenida Marau at its terminus with the Rua Mutuní, at the S outskirts of the city, about 6.5 km S of central Santarém.

Description:

Shrub, ca. 1 m tall, inflorescence axes and flowers light orange, the apex of the corolla deep orange; SILICA COLLECTION.

Habitat:

Disturbed secondary forest along ridgetop roadside, terra firme.
