Since there is no way of knowing whether north of the lake was intended to mean northern shore of the lake or to the north of the lake, georeferenced to the latter interpretation which is more inclusive and will entirely contain the less inclusive interpretation. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located Lago Erepecu, which branches off from Rio Trombetas in Oriximiná, Pará. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure the total extent of the lake; halved this distance to approximate the location of the geographic center of the lake. From the geographic center of the lake, located the nearest named place, which sits northwest of Lago Erepecu. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again to measure to the nearest named place northwest, Igarapé Candeeiro; halved this distance to approximate the midpoint of this segment between the two sites. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the midpoint between the geographic center of the lake and Igarapé Candeeiro to the northwest.
