Brazil. Rondônia. Ariquemes Mun. 9.5 km. SE of Ariquemes on hwy. BR 364, then 1.5 km. E on "Linea 55". Alt. 200 m. (656 ft.)

Description:

Shrub 4 m. tall at edge. Corolla nodding, very pale violet, appearing white. Fruit green, held strictly erect, the inflorescence losing the umbelliform shape. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.

Habitat:

Tall tropical evergreen forest, some trees recently removed, nearly level. With Bertholletia, Orbignya phalerata, other palms.
