Description:

Tree 23m tall, 23.2 dbh; buttresses 1-1.5m high; exudate a slippery latex, dark cream, turning red, with odor of Cedrus or Calocedrus; bark lenticellate, with lateral rings; inner bark 4mm thick, fibrous, red to dark red; sapwood tan.

Habitat:

Mata de terra firme. Latosolo amarelo.
