Tree 12 m. talll, 14 cm. dbh., without buttresses; exudate a sticky white resin in droplets; bark hard, 1 mm. thick, deciduous in small flakes, dark brown; inner bark 4 mm. thick, fibrous, light orange; sapwood light tan. Flowers cauliflorous.
