Description:

tree. Tree, 7m tall, with a number of ascending boughs almost from the base; the thickest 18cm d.b.h. Involucres (investing flowers) pale green. Ripe fruits orange-red.

Habitat:

In forest on the banks of Lago Rufino; will be standing in quite deep water in the rainy season.
