Brazil. Mato Grosso. Small lake near West shore of Rio Suia Missu, c. 20 km. N. of the ferry and c. 50 km. N.N.W. of base camp.

Description:

tree. Tree to about three meters but often with stems ascending. Leaves leathery mid green above, paler below. Fruit with pale green carpels with faintly chestnut scurf.

Habitat:

In hollows behind river bank subject to inundation during the rainy season.
