Description:

Tree 100 ft.; 0.6 m DBH, sterile; plot B-1, tree no. 118; Roots: buttresses 1 1/2 m X 2 1/2 m. Trunk/Bark: dark purple-brown bark with lighter raised lenticels and some small irregular flakes up to 2 X 5 cm. Habitat overlaying sediments of Pleistocene mea.
