Description:
Tree two and a half metres high with smooth trunk. Leaves rather dark green above, and with very conspicuous yellow veins beneath. Petal large white with frilly margin. Long yellow blotch leading to throat and surrounded by lines of crimson dots. Stamens with orange-yellow anther. By 3 p.m. most of the petals had turned lemon yellow and many had fallen. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
