Description:

Tree, to 25 m. x 4 dm. base. Tree to 25 m, 4 dm base diameter; leaves dark green above, light matte beneath, margin recurled, stiff, papery; calyx dark brwon without, yellow within, thick, corolla of 1 crinkled petal, bright yellow, veins without brown, petal quickly deciduous, stamens in 2 sets, few away from petal arching inwards with long filaments, large mass at base of petal with shorter filaments; only one seen. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Mixed evergreen forest.
