Description:

treem 30 ft. Small tree, 30 ft. high. Calyx valvate (breaks irregularly) covered with brown tomentum, 4-6, recurved in flower. corollal, yellow, crinkled. Stamens [many], orange, basifixed. Ovary green, covered with silky white tomentum. Inflorescence arises in axils of fallen leaves. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

In forest bordering savanna.
