Description:
Description - Stipules (4.5-)6-11 (-14) mm long, 1-2(-2.5) mm wide, linear, linear-lanceolate, narrowly elliptic, or falcate-elliptic, acute; petioles (1.5-)3-4(-4.5) mm long, the petiolules 1.5-3(-3.5) mm long, the blades grayish and densely malpighio-strigulose beneath; bracts persistent, 2-3.5 mm long, 0.5-1.5 mm wide, ovate to narrowly oblong-lanceolate, acute, the bracteoles persistent, arising near the base of the pedicel, ca 1.5 mm long, narrowly lanceolate, acute; buds 4-5 mm diameter, glabrous or minutely strigulose basally; pollen globose, 21-28.5 µ diameter; gynophore 4-6 mm long; fruit oval in outline, more or less compressed laterally, 3.5-4.5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, 1-seeded, the stipe ca 6 mm long.
