Dominican Republic. La Altagracia. Laguna Bavaro at Punta de Los Nidos, on road from Playa El Macao south to Punta Cana (about 10 mi from ocean). Alt. 5 m. (16 ft.)

Description:

4 to 5 m. tall; fl light yellow; fr. green now, in spirals. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Dry or nearly dry saline island lagoon, wigh Rhizophora and Aviccenia mangrove forest; on sand.
