Description:
Species Description - Erect to prostrate subshrub, many-branched from a woody base; branches to 30 cm long. Leaflets 0.7-2 x 0.2-0.5 cm, elliptic, chartaceous, glabrous or puberulent, the veins ascending, prominent and whitish on lower surface, the apex mucronulate, obtuse to acute, the base acute to obtuse, slightly asymmetric, the margins denticulate, ciliate; petioles 3-8 mm long; stipules to 9 mm long. Flowers axillary, solitary at ends of condensed short branches. Calyx bell-shaped, 3-4 mm long; corolla yellow, the standard 4-5 mm long, rounded, clawed, the wings and keel slightly shorter than the standard. Legume of 2 articles, 5-7 mm long, the apex hooked. Seeds ca. 2 mm long, flattened, oblong-elliptic.
