United States of America. New Jersey. Burlington Co. Wharton State Forest, ca. 2.5 miles northeast of Hampton Furnace, north of Friendship, north of Carranza Memorial, south of unnamed paved road, along the west shore of the Skit Branch of the Batsto River. Alt. 12 - 15 m. (39 - 49 ft.)

Habitat:

in an oak (Quercus) dominated, moist, pine (Pinus rigida) - oak forest, with many small sunny openings and sparse ericaceous understory. On the wood of a dead oak (Quercus).
