West-facing slope; with abundant sandstone boulders and seep-fed stream; in open hollow. With Pinus echinata, Quercus stellata, Quercus velutina, Amelanchier arborea, Ulmus alata, Vaccinium arboreum, Hamamelis vernalis, Acer rubrum, Ilex decidua, and Carpinus caroliniana. On Amelanchier arborea.
