Description:

Vine, very common in region, over grasses and hanging out of trees and over fences. Stem to 2 cm. in diameter, tan-corky. Male inflorescences ascending, the flowers nodding, odorless, yellow-green; anthers yellow; nectary pouches delineated beneath by veins but not at all swollen, the cushion covering them white; flowers apparently visited by a "bumblebee" and perhaps by a small hummingbird. Fruit hanging, apparently falling to ground when ripe, but none seem chewed by animals. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Former humid montane forest, now mostly vegetable fields.
