Description:

Shrub 3 m. tall, in seed. Trunk 5 cm. diam. Trunk & twigs with short, sharp thorns. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
Habitat:

On flat terrain in secondary "cerrado" scrub vegetation of closely-spaced shrubs 2-3 m. tall. [See label for further habitat description.].
