Brazil. Bahia. Ilhéus Mun. Rodovia BA 001 Ilheus - Itacare, near Praia de Norte. At ca. 4 km N of bridge over river on rough road ca. 14 km N of Ilheus.

Description:

Main rachis and pinnae-rachises glossy, brownish-green. Lamina 9both surfaces) yellow-green and with a slight sheen. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

In mangrove (mangue) area bordering river and adjacent to degraded coastal vegetation planted with Oil Palm (Elais guineensis). With Nephrolepis and Pithecellobium. Dense colony climbing up dead petioles of the oil palms, and up into the crown. On oil palm in 40 had this species growing up it.
