Thanks to Beck’s fruiting collection, the description of the species can be completed with the following data. Fruiting calyx 4-5 mm diam.; follicles 3.5-4 mm long, densely hispid; endocarp 2.8-3 mm, ellipsoid, when ripe and open, laterally flattened and shortly incised in a U-shape on one side.
