Description:

Terrestrial shrub to 1.5 m tall. Rachis green. Pedicels, calyx and lower 3/4 corolla salmon-pink; upper 1/4 corolla white. Corolla twice-constricted, more or less globose at base. Growing together with Psammisia ferruginea and Psammisia columbiensis, with Psammisia guianensis and Psammisia sclerantha close. One plant seen along roadside. [Photo; pickled].

Forest remnants and edge along road. Growing together with Psammisia ferruginea and Psammisia columbiensis, with Psammisia guianensis and Psammisia sclerantha close.
