Description:

Tree, 100 feet, 20 inches diam., unbuttressed but somewhat flutted for its length; wood extremely hard; leaves whorled at branch ends, crinkled, supple; flowers densely clustered on the branchlets below the leaves; calyx and corolla pale cream with a greenish tinge; calyx lobed almost to base, smooth; corolla lobes erect, lobed to half way; ovary hairy. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Greenheart forest on a lateritic hill slope.
