Colombia. Nariño. La Planada Biological Reserve, ca 7 km S of Chucunez. Alt. 1800 - 1900 m. (5905 - 6234 ft.)

Description:

scandent epiphyte. leaves coriaceous; calyx & pedicels dark orange-red; corolla-red at base with bands of maroon then green distally. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

disturbed premontane forest along trail and open potreros; in prima-ry forest.
