Location:

Dominica. Saint George. Freshwater lake. Steep slope in open elfin forest near lake. Alt. 760m. (2493 ft.)

Description:

Common shrub, 1.0-2.5 m tall. Fruit a fleshy berry; red when immature becoming orange when mature. Fruit partially eaten; somewhat "display-like", but not a capsule. Corolla yellow; apically ventricose on lower surface. Throat constricted.

Habitat:

Steep slope in open elfin forest near lake.
