Location:

Ecuador. Esmeraldas. Quinindé (Canton). The Mache-Chindul Ecological Reserve. Bilsa Biological Station. Mache Mountains. 35 km W of Quinindé, 5 km W of Santa Isabel. 8 km SW of reserve along old Mono road. Alt. 400 - 600 m. (1312 - 1968 ft.)

Description:

Weedy shrub, 2 m tall, along road. Leaves and stem with stellate trichomes. Leaves opposite and decussate. Fruits ramiflorous.
Habitat:

Recently logged mature and disturbed forest. Premontane Wet Forest.
