Colombia. Antioquia. Vic. Planta Providencia, 28 kms SW of Zaragoza. Valley of Río Anorí in areas surrounding the confluence of Quebrada La Tirana and Río Anorí, approx. 3 km upriver from Planta Providencia. Alt. 400 - 700 m. (1312 - 2297 ft.)

Description:

Vine-stem green to 10 m up in a tree Melastome. Flr. buds white with tinge of pink. Frt. remnants papery brown.

Habitat:

Edge of secondary forest along roadway between Q. La Tirana and Providencia along river.
