strangler fig. "Strangler" fig 20m, crown extending over that of host tree, syconia reddish-green. In baixio. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Steeply hilly terrain with lian forest on crests, open forest with palms on slopes, and many areas of "baixio" (open forest with palms, sporadically flooded by overflowing streams).
