Description:

The culms solid, running along the ground and criss-crossing the forest floor, rooting at the nodes [See label for further plant description.]. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.

Habitat:

Abundant bamboo at this elevation and higher in red clay soil (bamboos not occurring below this elevation in the black, sandy soils).
