Description:

Some plants dry and badly wilted, these still in good condition. One plant with tuber-like swelling on vertical tap root. Flower face held below the vertical to nodding; corolla yellow-green when first opening, then white; anthers yellow, the two upper ones shorter, all held at an angle slightly below the horizontal. No fruit seen. Phenology of specimen: Flower , Fertile.
Habitat:

In and around cultivated fields of Zea mays, Cucurbita, phaseoloid legume, with weeds such as Amaranthus hybridus, Gomphrena martiana, Solanum hieronymi, S. stuckertii, mostly flat, surrounded by dry chaco woodland with Schinopsis, Caesalpinia paraguariensis, Acanthosyris falcata. Soil sandy.
