Description:

Perennial, 1-1.5 m high. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.

Habitat:

Selva mediana subperen., largely undisturbed forest; secondary growth, openings in selva w/ many annuals & perennials. W/ Manilkara zapota, Bursera simarouba, Castilla elastica, many epiphytes. Fairly common. Limestone substrate; soil very thin & rocky.
