Location:

Ecuador. Esmeraldas. Quinindé (Canton). The Mache-Chindul Ecological Reserve. Bilsa Biological Station. Mache Mountains, 35 km W of Quinindé, 5 km W of Santa Isabel. Old Mono road, 5 km SW of reserve. Alt. 400 - 600 m. (1312 - 1968 ft.)

Description:

Tree, 20 m tall, in mature forest. Twigs with sweet odor. Inflorescence axillary, well developed staminal tube.
