Hypanthium 1.5-2.5 mm long, copiously covered with somewhat spreading smooth (gland-tipped in part) hairs 1-2 mm long. Calyx lobes 0.3-0.5 mm long, ovate. The conspicuous exterior calyx teeth 0.7-1 mm long, subulate. Petals 2.5-3 x 0.5-1 mm, narrowly subulate, glabrous. Filaments 1.5-2.5 mm long; anther thecae 1-1.5 mm long, oblong with a ventro-terminal pore; connective simple. Ovary 4-5-celled, ¾-inferior (in fruit); berry smooth.
