Description:

Subshrub to ca. 1 m tall. Inflorescences viscous. Corolla magenta; filaments red-violet; stamens yellow. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Wet sand. Sandy cerrado and thickets in sandy pockets in outcrops.
