Description:

Twin-trunked tree, 8 m. tall wth the thicker trunk 30 cm dbh. Barl very deeply fissured into vertical ridges to 4 cm deep. Cauliflorous with flowers massed along the branches and boughs. Petals waxy cream. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

In cerrado. On very sandy soil.
