Description:

Slender, single stemmed shrub to 1.5 m., much branched, oftern verticillate from upper third of stem. Leaves strictly decussate, fleshy. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Savanna-campo rupestre. Abundant, one of the major species of the campo in this area.
