Description:
Suffrutescent herb to 0.6 m tall. Flowers 5-merous. Petals pink. Only one of the five large anthers fertile, the others staminodial and filamentous. Anthers yellow like the appendages. Small anthers 4 and fertile, also yellow. Locally common.
