Description:

Wiry suffrutescent herbs to 0.5m tall. Petals orange with yellow base. Filaments and anthers yellow.

Habitat:

Degraded cerrado vegetation. Inside barbed wire fencing. Vegetation: Annona coriacea, Miconia ferruginata, Miconia albicans. Locally common in moist soil.
