Description:

Shrub to 1 m tall.Petals magenta.Large anthers red with white tips.Small anthers and appendages yellow.Locally uncommon.

Habitat:

Campo rupestre with Vellozia, Euphorbia, Lavoisiera mucorifera, and several genera of Eriocaulaceae.
