Guyana. Tulameng Mtn., along rocky creek on eastern foot, near Camp 6, c. 5 km east of summit (summit 1534 m). Alt. 910m. (2986 ft.)

Description:

Tree to 5 m. Stellate scales on undersides of leaves, stem, inflorescence. Petioles purple. Inflorescence in bud.

Habitat:

Moist forest rich in epiphytes and lithophytes.
