Description:

Shrub 1.5 m tall. Flowers pendant at anthesis. Pedicels, hypanthia, petals, filaments, and style white. Petals somewhat reflexed. Anthers yellow, laterally connate in a ring around the style. Berries deep pink turning blue at maturity.
Habitat:

Cloud forest. Uncommon.
