Venezuela. Táchira. Vicinity of Las Minas, north of La Laguna, 16 km SE of Santa Ana. Alt. 1150 - 1250 m. (3773 - 4101 ft.)

Description:

Tree 6 m tall; leaves deep green above, buff brown below with raised rugose venation; stem, rachis, petiole, and calyx with pale tawny tomentum. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Primary wet forest. Sandy soil.
