Description:

Scandent and forming lax bushes; leaves flat, much lighter green beaneath, horizontally spreading or descending; stems and branches yellowish-gray; petals whitish, delicate; anther bases light yellow, the acuminate tips pinkisk; bracts or calyces green in flower, persistant, brightly red in fruit; berry globose, deep green, covered with bristly whitish hairs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Upon tree trunks several meters from the ground of humid woods.
