Venezuela. Amazonas. Río Negro Mun. Cerro de La Neblina, Camp VII, 4 km. NE of Pico Phelps (=Neblina). Alt. 2100 - 2150 m. (6890 - 7054 ft.)

Description:

Small shrubs to 1.5 m. tall. Petals pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

On and around base of quartzitic sandstone and conglomerate cliffs at southernmost point of cliff face, ca. 1 km. SW of and above Camp VII. Scrubby with much Brocchinia tateo.
