Description:

Bushy shrub to 50 cm. Leaves mid-green. Sepals pale green. Petals pinkish-magenta, stamens dark yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Dry grassland on quartzite and white sand, apparently subject to flooding with red lateritic soils in the valleys with cerrado.
