Description:

Shrub 3 m. tall; leaves membranous, rich green above, pale green below; hypanthium pale rose-buff; style, filaments and anthers white; fruit purple. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Moist rich mized evergreen forest on steep slopes.
