Description:

Bushy shrub to 70 cm with wiry bare branches below. Leaves imbricate appressed dull grey-green. Calyx reddish-tinged. Petals pink. Anthers golden yellow, with pale yellow filaments. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Sandstone rocks, with open sand in flatter areas. Open scrub in exposed sites, to scattered woodland & marsh. This plant growing in sandy damp areas.
