Description:

Shrub. Tall shrub, ca 4 m high; stems, leaves, and sepals with slightly viscid, glandular hairs; corolla and anthers white, filaments pink.
Habitat:

Small wooded island in rio; average rainfall 3400-3600 mm/year.
